Next Waypoint Technologies, Inc. was founded and incorporated in Utah in 2003 with the aim of providing professional level services to clients and businesses who could not normally justify the hourly rate of a traditional IT consulting firm.

Small businesses have often chosen to rely on someone's brother-in-law, or a neighbor when it came to their computer systems, networks, hardware, and software needs. The guy-next-door approach may be cheap, but not necessarily cost effective. What if your network goes down, and your neighbor isn't available? What if your brother-in-law just doesn't want to work on your web site anymore? What if they just don't take it seriously because they think they are doing you a favor?

Traditionally, professional IT consultants cost too much to be considered for small businesses. IT consulting firms have to keep their technical staff fully utilized, or they leak money like water through a strainer. They usually seek bigger, longer term projects at larger firms that will keep their people busy for a few months at a time, at least. This totally neglects the small business market, which is left with either using a friend-of-a-friend, or having to do without.

This is where Next Waypoint comes in. We are, ourselves, a small business. We seek to help other small businesses get the answers to their IT needs met so they can succeed. Our goal is to bring professional level services and value at a price point that small business owners can afford.
